Local Businessman Donates Plaque To Honor Fallen Firefighters, Police

Jim Shipman, representing the Evergreen Funeral Home, presented a bronze plaque to Everett Mayor Frank Anderson and Fire Chief Murray Gordon recognizing the sacrifice made by public safety personnel during the terror attacks on September 11, 2001.

The plaque can be viewed by the public at the Everett Fire Department Administration Building, 2811 Oakes.  The plaque will ultimately reside in the Firefighters Museum and maintained by the Everett Firefighters Association.
